Katy Perry's 'E.T.' Video Debuts
Katy Perry fans around the world are eagerly anticipating the debut of her new music video for her single, "E.T.," in which the pop star goes through an out of this world transformation.
Perry goes through a drastic makeover for the video, appearing as an alien-like woman, The Huffington Post described.
Her skin is painted a lavender shade of purple and her face is painted to look like an alien, all the while sporting a very unique head dress that just accentuates the whole ensemble.
Photos of her costume can be seen at Idolator .
The "E.T." video will premiere at noon ET today on MTV.com, VH1.com and LogoTV.com; and will appear on air at 7:53 p.m. ET, MTV.com reported. The song also features Kanye West.
Perry told MTV that she is excited with the feedback she is hearing about her album "Teenage Dream," and the excitement of her fans with each new music video she debuts. Her goal is to make it a cinematic experience every time.
"With 'Teenage Dream' the record in whole, I knew I wanted to give so many different flavors, so many different ideas, and just make a different 'movie' for each song. I feel like I've done that," Perry told MTV.
Billboard reported that "E.T." has rocketed to the number one spot on The Hot 100 charts, as of March 30.
"Teenage Dream" is the one of the few albums in history to produce four number one hits: "Teenage Dream," "Firework," "California Gurls" and now "E.T." Mariah Carey's debut album is the last solo female artist to have done so, and that was back in 1991.
"I am so thrilled that 'E.T.' has landed at No. 1. I want to thank all the fans who contributed to this amazing feat and radio, which has been an essential part of my continued existence. I truly appreciate all the support of my creative twists and turns," Perry told Billboard.

April fools day pranks
It's getting to be that time of year when people run frantically through their office corridors looking for April Fools Day pranks that hit just the right place along the continuum between gentle playfulness and brutal cruelty. Jose Canseco and former Cardinal Ozzie Canseco's recent boxing trick play—Ozzie replaced Jose for a celebrity boxing gig, and was found out when he failed to have a depressing Twitter-aided meltdown in the ring—offer an easy template for any would-be office prankster to follow. I've cut Canseco's master-prank into handy list form, so just follow along!
1. Have an identical twin. It's important that your identical twin is good at baseball, but not nearly as good as you. It's difficult to remain identical through decades of hard living, steroids, and squalor, so plan ahead.
2. Have a solid baseball career, marked by occasionally worrisome paranoia and some minor PR nightmares. Okay, so you're not quite a Hall of Famer, and you're a bit of a jerk, and in hindsight all that muscle was a little suspicious, but hey! 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases in a season is nothing to sneeze at.
3. Become a national pariah. There are exceptions—you could, like Manute Bol, just be an extraordinarily generous person trying to raise money for your pet causes—but in general, you can't get into celebrity boxing unless you've made an ass out of yourself. People don't want to see celebrities they like get beaten up.
4. Run an increasingly depressing Twitter feed. Talk about how you've lost millions of dollars, how you don't know where you're going to live, how the forces massed against you have made your every day a living hell. Do this, somehow, without evoking any sympathy at all from your followers, whom you appear to loathe anyway.
5. Jackpot—Have your twin brother replace you in a celebrity boxing match.

dancing with the stars results
Mike Catherwood and Lacey Schwimmer were the first to be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars, but Mike’s not letting it get him down. In fact, he says he’s “thrilled” to be done with dancing!
OK! NEWS: KENDRA WILKINSON’S DWTS BLOG —I DON’T WANT TO GO HOME!
Mike and his DWTS partner Lacey chatted with reporters about their elimination last night.
“Naturally we’re disappointed, we didn’t want to be sent home first,” Mike explained. “But there’s an infinite amount of positive stuff that came from just being involved up to this point, and I try to focus on that.”
“He’s thrilled he doesn’t have to rehearse anymore!” Lacey added.
“I’m thrilled about not having to dance anymore, and that’s not to say I don’t appreciate dancing, the one thing I have developed is I’ll never dance again for the rest of my life, I’ll just say that,” Mike said. “Unless they invite me back for some comedy reason.”
“But I’ve noticed that I now have a tremendous appreciation for the art of dance that I didn’t have before,” he added. “I used to, if I had to sit through professional performances I would change the channel or be playing “Angry Birds.” But now I appreciate posture and movement. But you will not see me on your local dance floor anytime soon.”

What’s next to Mike? Will he be taking over for Regis Philbin on Regis and Kelly?
“I’d love to sit here and say, ‘oh yeah my people are talking’ but I don’t know man, I’m going back to do Regis and Kelly as a guest now, but also as a guest host in a couple weeks, just to check back in,” Mike said. “But I can’t tell you any hard firm ideas of what will happen in my career after this. This sounds so cheesey and cliché, but I’m just so grateful for all of this man, because honestly if you were to talk to 20-year old Mike I wouldn’t be confident that I’d have a job, let alone a job like the ones people are throwing my way. I take none of it for granted.”
Still he will miss some parts of DWTS.
“All of the cast has been ridiculously cool, but I’d have to say Chris [Jericho] and Cheryl [Burke],” Mike said of who he will miss the most. “We were like besties.”
“They totally had a bromance,” Lacey said. “Cheryl and I are very good friends.
